Prep Cook / Kitchen Utility Person (7a -3p and/or 11a - 7p)
Introduction:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Prep Cook to join our team and assist with the preparation of high-quality meals for our guests. The Prep Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting with the production of menu items, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work area. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients for menu items, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and measuring out spices and other ingredients
Assist with the production of menu items, including following recipes and adhering to food safety standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and utensils, sanitizing surfaces, and properly storing food items
Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines, including properly handling and storing food
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a prep cook or in a similar role
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of food safety standards and guidelines
Basic math skills
