Point of Sale Merchandiser

The Point of Sale Merchandiser works in conjunction with our Baton Rouge Sales team and retail accounts to ensure proper installation of current promotional and brand specific materials including but not limited to neon signs, pool table lights, cardboard cutouts, etc. in our assigned territory.  

Primary Job Duties

• Maintain accurate inventory of all point of sale materials

• Receive, assemble, and distribute POS materials within the sales department

• Visit retail accounts to install/remove POS materials in a variety of settings such as grocery stores, convenience stores, bars, special events, etc.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 21 years of age

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy

• Must be highly organized and have the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects

• Customer service oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Prior retail sales/stock experience in the beverage industry a plus

• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to include weekend, holidays, and over-time when needed

• Ability to safety fulfill the physical requirements of the position which includes but it not limited to lifting overhead items in excess of 50 lbs., lifting/loading/moving items up to 150 lbs., climbing ladders, working with electrical components, operating pallet jacks, hand jacks, and other electric hand tools
