PM Lead Cook Position

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership: Directs kitchen staff during shifts, ensuring high-quality food preparation and plating.Food Preparation & Quality: Preps and cooks' food, manages stations, and ensures all dishes meet recipes and sanitation standards.Station Management: Ensures cooking stations are fully stocked, clean, and sanitized before and after shifts.Inventory & Waste Management: Tracks supplies, reports inventory needs, and adheres to food rotation practices.Required Skills and Qualifications
Typical Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3+ years of professional kitchen experience.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, sanitation protocols, and cooking techniques.
- Experience: Proven, extensive, and hands-on experience in a professional, high-volume kitchen. At least 4 years of experience.
- Leadership: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage a team effectively.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; a culinary arts degree is a plus*
- Certification: Food handler’s license or ServSafe certification is often required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

*MUST have basic knowledge of running a kitchen, food labeling, FIFO, ordering, organizing
*Part-time position, 4:45pm-10:30pm
*Hourly wage is based on experience and knowledge
