Plasterer
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plasterer to join our maintenance and construction team. The Plasterer will be responsible for applying coats of plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create smooth or textured finishes, as well as repairing existing plasterwork. This role is essential to maintaining high-quality finishes and professional appearance across all facilities and projects.
Key Responsibilities-
Prepare and clean surfaces before applying plaster, stucco, or other finishes.

Mix plaster materials to the correct consistency for specific applications.

Apply coats of plaster or stucco to interior and exterior walls, ceilings, and decorative elements.

Smooth, level, and texture surfaces according to project requirements.

Repair cracks, holes, and damaged plaster surfaces.

Install and remove temporary structures such as corner beads, lath, and protective coverings.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.

Collaborate with other trades on renovation and construction projects.

Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations.

High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a plastering apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in plastering, stucco, or drywall finishing.

Knowledge of plastering tools, materials, and application techniques.

Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work on scaffolding.

Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Experience with decorative or ornamental plastering.

Familiarity with various plaster types, including lime, gypsum, and cement-based materials.

Knowledge of modern finishing materials such as Venetian plaster or synthetic coatings.

Basic drywall repair and finishing skills.
