Plant Operations Tech I

IMC is currently hiring a Plant Operations Tech I to join our team. This team member will perform a variety of skilled work in the operation, maintenance and repair of boiler, heating, air conditioning, ventilating, lighting, power, water, water treatment, and other mechanical systems normally found in a Hospital. Performs and completes assigned Scheduled Maintenance Work Orders (PM’s), Routine and Emergency Work Orders in allotted and timely manner. Provides Security related duties M-F during daylight hours. Maintains cooperative work relationship with others. Assist in the “On Call” rotation and respond to emergency repairs. Comply will all Hospital training and safety requirements. Ensure that the requirements of EPA Section 608 are met.
EDUCATION:
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent or equivalent work experience
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work requires prolonged walking (approximately 2hr/day), standing (approximately 1 hr/day) and sitting (approximately 5hr/day).
- Frequently lifts and positions patients with the assistance of other personnel.
PRINCIPLE TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preventative maintenance done and completed in a timely manner.
- Work Orders done to satisfactory.
- Special projects done and completed in allotted time frame.
- Performs work with thoroughness.
- Maintain cooperative work relationship with others.
- Assist in the “On Call” rotation and respond to emergency repairs
