Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping systems for central plants and refrigerant piping applications.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for piping layout and installation.
• Work with chilled water, condenser water, steam, and refrigerant piping systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Cut, thread, and assemble pipes using hand tools, power tools, and machinery under the guidance of experienced pipefitters.
• Assist in testing piping systems for leaks and proper operation.
• Assisting in the installation of HVAC equipment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in pipefitting, plumbing, or a related trade
• Understanding of installation of groove pipe and welded pipe
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
• TWIC card
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass hair follicle drug test
