Positive Steps Therapy, a leading provider of children’s therapy services, is currently seeking a Physical Therapist to join us in providing Early Intervention services to children ages birth through three, in Greene County. This is a flexible part-time opportunity with the goal to work one-on-one with families in their homes and in the community, while supporting them through teletherapy during COVID 19. As an early intervention therapist, you have the ability to make a positive impact on a child, while coaching their family members through interventions based on their daily routines in the child’s natural setting. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, and developmentalists to carry over goals while working on the Individualized Family Service Plan.

This position does include travel, and candidates must have their own transportation. Candidates must have their Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania, and candidates should have at least one year of experience working with children age five and younger who have developmental delays.

Additional hours could be available at our pediatric outpatient center in Washington, PA, where our Physical Therapists treat children from birth through age twenty-one, in a play environment.  As a PT in our outpatient centers, you will work with children who have a variety of physical therapy needs including babies with various conditions, toddlers working on gross motor development and milestones, and adolescents with neurological conditions and concussion care, as well as sports injury and orthopedics. You must have a passion for working with kids and their families, and excel in a fast-paced setting.
