Compensation: $35.00 per hour
Your Role in the Company
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will provide physical therapy to
patients as directed by the physical therapist, physician and established plan
of care, in a professional, competent manner, upholding excellence with quality
of care.
Essential Elements of the Role
· Work cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
· Provide treatments to patients as directed by Physical therapist and established plan of care
· Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency of physical therapy modalities.
· Manage and operate equipment safely and correctly.
· Meet current documentation standards and policies.
· Maintain department cleanliness and safety.
· Interact professionally with patient/family and involve patient/family in the formation of physical therapy exercise and maintenance programs.
· Communicate appropriately and clearly to physical therapist, supervisor, staff and administrative team.
· Demonstrate an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.
· Participate in infection control, departmental equipment training and organizational safety and fire safety programs.
Qualifications
· Must have a degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
· Must meet all certification and licensure requirements as established by the state and national board associations.
· Active license in state of work is required.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
· Active CPR certification.
