Phlebotomy Instructor 💉

VIP Supreme Staffing is seeking an experienced and passionate Phlebotomy Instructor to train and guide aspiring phlebotomists through their certification journey. The ideal candidate will bring both clinical expertise and a commitment to student success, ensuring that participants are fully prepared for careers in healthcare.

• Deliver engaging and structured classroom and clinical instruction in phlebotomy techniques, safety procedures, and proper patient care.

• Teach students how to perform venipuncture, capillary puncture, and other specimen collection techniques.

• Provide instruction on anatomy and physiology related to phlebotomy, infection control, lab safety, and HIPAA regulations.

• Prepare lesson plans, course materials, quizzes, and practical exams.

• Evaluate student performance through written assessments, skill checks, and clinical competencies.

• Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and progress reports.

• Provide constructive feedback, tutoring, and mentorship to support student learning.

• Stay current on phlebotomy practices, certification requirements, and industry trends.

• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment.

• Certification: Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent from a nationally recognized organization (e.g., NHA, NCCT, ASCP).

• Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of recent experience as a practicing phlebotomist.

• Teaching Experience: Prior teaching or training experience preferred but not required; VIP Supreme Staffing provides instructor development support.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, infection control, and lab procedures.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

• Ability to motivate and support diverse student populations.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

• CPR Certification (AHA or Red Cross).
