Job Responsibilities:

As a Philanthropy Coordinator, you will:

 

💼 Provide Office & Administrative Support – Assist the Director of Philanthropy with daily office management, donor communications, and special projects.
📊 Database Management – Maintain donor records, manage campaigns, and generate reports using Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems.
🎉 Coordinate Special Events – Organize fundraising events and donor recognition activities to engage and appreciate our supporters.
🤝 Steward Donor Relationships – Foster positive, lasting relationships with donors, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
💌 Fundraising Activities – Assist with various fundraising initiatives, including donation tracking and recognition efforts.
📈 Manage Donations – Record donations and update donor information to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

 

Qualifications:

Associate degree or completion of a two-year program in Business, Fundraising, Public Relations, or Communications preferred, but not required.
6 months to 1 year of experience in philanthropy, including database management, managing campaigns, and organizing special events.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with experience in data entry, queries, and generating reports.
Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and adapt to new responsibilities.
Previous experience with volunteers and special events is a plus!
