ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:              

• Under the supervision and direction of the Director of Pharmacy/ Pharmacist, performs a variety of technical and clerical duties for the hospital-wide unit dose drug distribution system and intravenous admixture program.
• Responsible for maintaining confidential reports, entering and retrieving data via computer system, preparing medications, filling automated medication dispensing system with a supply of unit dose medications, procuring, and filling requests for pharmaceutical supplies and delivery of supplies to nursing units.  

Qualifications:

• Requires high school graduate (or equivalent).
• Six to twelve months of pharmacy experience is preferred       

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician
