Pharmacist Floater position.

PelMeds™ has been in operation as an independently owned pharmacy for the past 75 years. We are located in Waltham, Fitchburg and Brockton Massachusetts.  www.pelmeds.com

We are a closed-door full-service pharmacy that specializes in medication management services, compounding (human & vet), specialty products, specialized packaging, and delivery service.

Our customers range from residential schools, group homes, palliative care/hospice, assisted living residents, individual patients, and pet owners/veterinarians. We are looking to add an additional pharmacist to our growing team.

 Description

• Basic pharmacist tasks include, checking prescriptions, communications with prescribers and counseling patients on medications and therapies.

• Provide guidance, counsel and direction to employees who report to this position as necessary.

• Function within the limits of the law and Pelmeds policies and procedures.  Become thoroughly familiar with and fully comply with policies, operating procedures, rules and regulations that are contained in the employee manual.

• Enforce all State, Federal and/or local laws pertaining to drug dispensing and patient information.

• Ensure service and value provided to customers is satisfactory.
