Personal Chief of Staff
The Personal Chief of Staff (PCOS) serves as Graham Lee’s (our CEO) strategic right-hand, overseeing personal and business priorities, managing key initiatives, and ensuring seamless coordination between various functions, including financial, operational, and analytical domains. The PCOS will provide executive-level support, optimize processes, and act as a central point of contact between Graham, financial advisors, analytics teams, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Operational Leadership:
- Serves as a trusted advisor and central coordinator for Graham’s business and personal matters
- Oversees high-priority projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Acts as a liaison between Graham and key internal/external stakeholders
- Facilitates clear communication and ensure execution of action items
- Conducts research, prepare reports, and provide strategic recommendations
- Optimizes workflows, enhance decision-making, and drive efficiency across operations
Financial Oversight & Coordination
- Collaborates with the Personal Financial Assistant/Bookkeeper and Family Office Financial Advisor(s) to manage financial operations
- Monitors budgets, oversee expenses, and ensure compliance with financial goals
- Liaises with accountants, financial planners, and legal teams for wealth management and tax optimization
- Assists in managing personal investments, financial obligations, and philanthropic initiatives
- Supports data-driven decision-making in collaboration with advisors
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong understanding of tax planning, including specialized taxes such as speculation tax
- Knowledge of credit, mortgages, and other banking and investment products (TFSA, FHSA, RRSP) to effectively liaise with financial advisors
- Highly proficient in Excel and spreadsheet management, with the ability to create financial models, track expenses, and generate reports
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in an executive operations, strategic advisory, or Chief of Staff role
- Strong background in finance, business operations, or strategic management
- Proven ability to oversee multiple domains, including financial oversight and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills
- High emotional intelligence, discretion, and ability to manage confidential matters
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, or executive leadership teams is an asset
