Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to join our team and provide high-quality care to one of our clients. The Caregiver for this case will be responsible for assisting the client with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation, as well as providing companionship and support. The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with clients. Client is a 90-year-old female located in Moncks Corner, SC.  Client has a total of 20 hours a week in the afternoons (2-6p). 

Responsibilities:

• Assist with ambulation and mobility, and transfers from/to one location to another, getting ready for bed, etc. 

• Communicate effectively with clients and their family, as well as management.

• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

• Other duties as assigned such as light housekeeping, laundry, shopping and errands, escorting and transporting to doctor's appointments. 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a caregiver or in a similar role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively with clients of all ages.

• Compassionate and patient personality

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
