Moravian Manor Communities, in Lititz, PA, is hiring a part-time 3rd Shift Medication Technician and a full-time 2nd shift Medication Technician for our Personal Care and Assisted Living areas. What will I do in the role of a Medication Technician?
- Answer call bells and promptly respond to resident requests
- Participate in development and implementation of a comprehensive support plan for the resident
- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, hair care, mouth care, and shaving.
- Take and chart blood pressure, accu-checks, weights, and heights in electronic medical records.
- Observe and report changes in resident’s condition
- Assist with ambulation and lifting/transferring residents, as needed
Qualifications of a Medical Technician
- Must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Caring and compassionate; enjoy working with the older population
- Certified within 30 days of hire date
This position requires proof of the influenza vaccine, unless a medical or religious exemption is granted.
