Patient Service Co-ordinator
We have an opening in our front office. Responsibilities of front desk medical assistant is as below,
Duties:
- Be the happy face of our clinic to our patients.
- Welcomes patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
- Patients check-in and check-out
- Insurance eligibility check
- Reach out to patients who missed their appointments promptly and reschedule them if necessary
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standard procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Skills/Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Medical Assistant diploma is plus
- Undergraduate/Associate degree is plus
- EMR (Eclinicalworks) experience is plus
Required experience:
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience (medical field experience is a plus)
