Illinois Orthopedic Network PLLC, IL is seeking to hire a Full-Time Patient Coordinator, Fluent in Spanish, to support our Diagnostics team with daily patient registrations.

This position comes with a competitive starting wage based on education and years of experience. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Diagnostic Testing: Schedule and coordinate a wide range of diagnostics tests including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans Assist patients by providing a welcoming and supportive environment.
  • Coordinate with outside diagnostics location vendors to schedule patients for their appointments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including personal information and medical history.
  • Communicate effectively with medical staff to coordinate patient care and address any scheduling conflicts.
  • Handle patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to streamline office operations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in a healthcare or medical office setting.

  • Excellent organization skills

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Fluent in English and Spanish (Required)

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PATIENT COORDINATOR

This ideal Diagnostics Coordinator candidate will be responsible for facilitating a seamless patient experience by coordinating appointments, managing patient records, and ensuring effective communication between medical staff and patients. You ensure that patients diagnostic services are scheduled timely and accurately. You serve as the primary contact when it comes to handling patient diagnostic inquiries. You will conduct patient follow-up calls to remind patients of their appointments and address any concerns. You will update and maintain patient records in our electric health records system.

 


WORK SCHEDULE

The typical schedule is an 8.5-hour day Monday-Friday
