Patient Care Coordinator
Illinois Orthopedic Network PLLC, IL is seeking to hire a Full-Time Patient Care Coordinator (Fluent in English and Spanish) to meet our growing demand for services and ensure the continued growth of the organization. Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring optimal utilization of our healthcare resources.
- Assist patients by providing a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including personal information and medical history.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff to coordinate patient care and address any scheduling conflicts.
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff to streamline office operations.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in a healthcare or medical office setting.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients and staff members in a collegial manner.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to handle high call volume and handle or route calls correctly
- Fluent in English and Spanish (Required)

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR
This ideal Patient Care Coordinator candidate will be responsible for facilitating a seamless patient experience by coordinating appointments, managing patient records, and ensuring effective communication between medical staff and patients. Your day is dynamic and revolves around ensuring a smooth positive experience for both patients and medical staff. You will conduct patient follow-up calls to remind patients of their appointments and address any concerns. You will update and maintain patient records in our electric health records system.
