Pastry Cook | Fine Dining Italian Restaurant
The Pastry Cook will play a vital role in our kitchen team, contributing to the creation of exquisite desserts and pastries. You will work closely with our Pastry Chef and culinary team to ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation are met.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and execute a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to recipes and standards set by the Pastry Chef.
• Maintain a clean and organized pastry station, following food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking ingredients and supplies.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new dessert menu items and seasonal specials.
• Ensure all pastry offerings are presented beautifully and delivered to guests in a timely manner.
• Uphold the restaurant’s commitment to excellence by consistently producing high-quality pastries that exceed guest expectations.
Requirements:
• Previous experience working as a pastry cook or similar role in a fine dining restaurant preferred.
• Knowledge of pastry techniques, including baking, decorating, and plating.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually stunning and delicious desserts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the kitchen team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
