Fidelity Power Systems, one of the nation's largest distributors of Kohler Generators and Power Systems, is seeking a seasoned Parts Procurement Coordinator to join our growing team operating at our Richmond, VA office!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sourcing - Finding spare parts and vendors to support generator service operations for routine.
- Negotiating - Negotiating with suppliers to get the best prices and conditions.
- Evaluating - Researching and comparing products and services to find the best ones for the organization from multiple vendors.
- Managing inventory - Overseeing the inventory of raw materials and other goods in a collocated warehouse, and 2 remote locations as well as manage truck inventory counts via mobile inventory.
- Tracking - Tracking and recording orders, and monitoring order expenses.
- Communicating - Communicating performance and costs to management and customer service representatives that schedule maintenance and repairs with customers.
- Ensuring quality - Ensuring that all products and materials meet company standards and are received and placed in the proper inventory location.
- Monitoring supplier performance - Ensuring that parts are delivered on time and consistently.
- Determining replacement parts - Determining which replacement parts are required based on inspections, customer requests, or descriptions of malfunctions.
- Preparing documents - Checking tenders and purchase order documents.
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent attitude and commitment to superior customer service.
- Strong and proven analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate and manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated sound problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent command of MS Office products, specifically Excel.
- Knowledge of Generator equipment and parts preferred.
- Ability to look at parts manuals and schematics to ascertain needed materials for procurement.
- Ability to maintain routine that ensures daily, weekly, monthly tasks are performed in a timely manner.
- Ability to work with and communicate effectively with others.
