Parts Coordinator / Shop Manager
Central Tech Services is seeking a proactive and organized Parts Coordinator / Shop Manager to lead the sourcing, organization, and delivery of materials critical to our Chiller/HVAC service operations in Sparks / Hunt Valley, MD! This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that supports technicians and ensures jobs run smoothly by managing inventory, vendors, and the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Source, order, and track parts and equipment for Chiller/HVAC service and maintenance.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery.
- Safely pick up and deliver materials to job sites or technicians as needed using the company shop truck.
- Safely assist with job clean-offs and mobilizations when projects are complete.
- Maintain accurate digital records and inventory logs.
- Support technicians by staging and preparing parts for preventive maintenance, service repairs, and projects.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and fully stocked with commonly used items.
- Ship and receive as necessary.
- Research manufacturer parts and stay informed on industry standards.
- Investigate, cross-reference, and source alternatives to OEM parts when necessary.
- Operate a forklift (certification preferred) and other warehouse equipment.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Outside-the-box thinking mentality.
- Experience in parts coordination, inventory management, and warehouse operations (HVAC industry preferred).
- Proficiency with computers and digital tracking systems.
- Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to juggle competing priorities.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Forklift certification and refrigerant and chemical handling experience preferred.

- Wage Range: $28/hr - $35/hr
- Commensurate with experience. This range represents a general guideline; however, several factors are considered when determining base pay offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
