avid hotel Lexington, KY - Night Auditor - 11pm-7am

Avid Hotel Lexington-Hamburg is looking for a dependable person to join our team to run the 11pm-7am night audit shift. This important role is mostly responsible for closing and opening the day's hotel reservation system, being readily available for guests, and setting up the hotel's breakfast. Other duties are detailed on the night audit checklist. 

We are looking for full-time work. This person can expect to work 4-5 nights per week including weekends from 11pm - 7am. Reliable transportation is required as this position requires dependability. Serious applicants only, please.

Other duties include, but are not limited to:

• Taking reservations over the phone
• Keeping our market well stocked and clean at all times
• Adhering to brand and company standards at all times

• Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming relevant information
• Understand and enforce the hotel company credit policies. Account for all cash and makes deposits in accordance with hotel and company policies
• Close guest accounts at time of check out. In the event of dissatisfaction, negotiate compromise, which may include authorizing room adjustments.
• Ability to stand and move throughout front office and continuously perform essential job functions
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
• Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
• Prepares and display breakfast buffet the next morning
