Part Time elite custodian/ maintenance worker

Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitor and Light Maintenance Worker to ensure that our gym remains clean, safe, and inviting. This role primarily focuses on cleaning duties but also includes light maintenance tasks. Experience in maintenance is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:- Daily Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting all gym areas.
- Sanitization: Thoroughly clean and disinfect locker rooms, showers, restrooms, and gym equipment to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Waste Management: Empty trash bins, manage recycling, and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Supply Management: Restock and organize cleaning supplies and restroom essentials.
- Maintenance Support: Assist with light maintenance tasks and minor repairs of facilities(equipment maintenance not required).
- Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
- Equipment Care: Maintain and clean cleaning equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift moderate weights.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Part-time position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
