Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greeting guests warmly, taking food/drink orders, explaining menu specials, and handling complaints professionally.
  • Service & Pacing: Delivering food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct orders, and managing table turnover.
  • Station Maintenance: Setting up tables, cleaning tables, and keeping the breakfast buffet area clean, sanitized, and fully stocked.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhering to food sanitation standards and following health and safety protocols.
  • POS Management: Using point-of-sale systems to enter orders accurately and process payments.
Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: 1–2 years of food service or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication (verbal/written), attention to detail, multitasking, and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, along with standing for long periods.
  • Certifications: Often requires food safety handling certificates (e.g., ServeSafe) or local compliance certifications. 
Key Competencies

  • Promptness: Exceptional time management to handle early morning breakfast rushes.
  • Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and dietary restrictions.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth service.
