About the Role: As a Barista & Bartender at OKCMOA, you'll play a key role in creating a delightful experience for visitors. You will combine your love for great beverages with excellent customer service while ensuring the bar and café environment is clean, safe, and inviting. Your role will help create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors, offering them delicious drinks, a warm greeting, and an unforgettable museum experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome Visitors: Greet guests warmly, inform them about our specials, new items, and assist them with any questions.
- Serve Drinks & Food: Grind and blend coffee beans, prepare and serve specialty coffee, teas, cocktails, and baked goods to visitors, blending creativity with customer service.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the bar area, tables, stools, and counters are kept clean and presentable at all times.
- Customer Service: Offer recommendations, up-sell products, and engage with guests to enhance their experience.
- Inventory & Stocking: Stock side stations with garnishments, mixers, ice, and ensure timely and accurate inventory of supplies.
- Responsible Alcohol Service: Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, keeping the visitor's best interest in mind.
- Maintenance & Sanitation: Keep equipment in working order, perform routine cleaning and sanitization, and ensure a safe, healthy work environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Customer Service Excellence: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and fellow team members.
- Beverage Knowledge: Familiarity with mixology and the operation of brewing equipment for coffee, cocktails, and teas.
- Learning Mindset: Eagerness to expand knowledge of brewing methods, beverage blends, and presentation techniques.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with others while maintaining a positive attitude and excellent judgment.
- Independence: Capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Scheduling Flexibility: Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and evenings, as required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and manage a busy work environment.
- Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; prior customer service and cash-handling experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
