Part-Time Aftercare Supervisor- SY2025-26

Elementary After Care Supervisor

Reports to: Principal

Schedule:

Weekdays 3:00 PM-6:00 PM

Grades:
PK3-5

Summary: The After Care Supervisors monitor Elementary School students after school hours until they are picked up by parent/caretakers, (3:00 pm-6:00 pm).  Student supervision and safety is the supervisor's priority, as daily attendance is monitored and proper 'sign-out' procedures are followed for every student according to best practices at Harmony DC School of Excellence.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Two years of previous experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
• Possess basic knowledge and understanding of school-aged children

Responsibilities

• Take daily attendance of all attending aftercare students.
• Assure that parents /caretakers sign children out upon pick-up,

Enjoy managing a classroom, aftercare supervisors must put structure in place for student success. Behavior expectations, rules of conduct and follow through on poor conduct is important.

• Aftercare supervisors should attend to the maintenance of the aftercare spaces making sure all areas are in order and clean for the next day

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.30 - 23.30 per hour
