What You’ll Do

At Ability Matters, your role is centered on relationships, learning, and meaningful outcomes.

• Create Impact: Support students in ways that uplift families and strengthen confidence.

• Engage in Community-Based Learning: Help facilitate hands-on learning experiences inside and outside the classroom, extending learning into the community.

• Provide Personalized Student Support & Educational Planning: Tailor learning activities to each student’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.
  Build Skills & Confidence: Help students grow communication, life, and social skills while fostering independence.
  Use Dignified Behavioral Support: Apply positive, respectful strategies that prioritize safety, dignity, and growth.

• Advocate for Inclusion: Champion student voice, rights, choices, and meaningful opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: 2-year degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Passion for Inclusion: A genuine desire to support students with disabilities.

• Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.

• Requirements: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Experience: Helpful but not required. Heart, attitude, and willingness to learn matter most.
