PARANORMAL INVESTIGATOR JOB DESCRIPTION

Step into the world of the unknown! Do you thrive on creating an exciting experience for others? We’re looking for Paranormal Investigators to lead guests through the historic Eloise Asylum. If you’re comfortable in dark, eerie environments and enjoy assisting guests get the most out of their paranormal investigations, this we want to hear from you. 

Job Duties:

• Guide groups of guests through various rooms and areas of the property during the ghost hunt
• Distribute and assist with ghost-hunting equipment (EMF meters, spirit boxes, infrared cameras, etc.)
• Ensure that guests safely navigate the property while providing basic guidance on how to use the equipment
• Monitor group dynamics and ensure the safety and comfort of guests throughout the experience
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment and making sure it’s functioning properly during the event

Job Requirements:

• Comfortable working in dimly lit, eerie environments
• Able to guide guests through the property in an organized and professional manner
• Basic understanding of ghost hunting equipment (training will be provided)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must be available to work late evenings, weekends, and during peak times 
• Previous experience in guiding, event staff roles, or customer-facing roles is a plus
• Must be able to stand on your feet for more than eight (8) hours

• Calm and collected under pressure, able to manage a group of guests in a spooky environment
• Friendly and approachable, able to assist guests and create a fun, eerie atmosphere
• Enjoys engaging with guests and creating a memorable experience
• Able to keep a steady pace while maintaining suspense and excitement

This position is a seasonal part time position.
