About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Electrician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards. This position plays a key role in ensuring facility operations run safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting, fixtures, panels, and related equipment.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using proper testing tools and techniques.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime and maintain safety.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to complete installation and repair work accurately.

  • Ensure all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.

  • Collaborate with maintenance and construction teams on renovations and facility upgrades.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.

  • Follow OSHA safety protocols and company safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an electrical apprenticeship or trade certification preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of electrical experience in commercial, industrial, or facility maintenance settings.

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and safety codes.

  • Proficiency with electrical testing tools, hand tools, and power equipment.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or at heights.

  • Valid driver’s license required; journeyman or master electrician license preferred.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with generators, control panels, or low-voltage systems.

  • Knowledge of building automation and energy management systems.

  • Basic familiarity with related trades (HVAC, plumbing, or carpentry).

  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
