Christwood Continuum Care Community is seeking a Full Time Painter responsible for performing accurate and efficient painting of all resident apartments, cottages, and common areas. Join our team today and fulfill a life of purpose and possibilities!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform residential painting and drywall repair 
• Maintain all high traffic area (Painting and Wallcovering)
• Restore painted areas in vacated apartments as outlined by the scope of work.
• Perform custom painting/wallcovering services as contracted by residents
• Maintains all paint inventory and supplies in a clean and neat manner
• Maintains a clean and neat work area at all times
• Maintains all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition
• Embodies and exhibits the Christwood's iCARE principles in day-to-day operations: Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Two years of painting experience in residential setting

SKILLS

• A good working knowledge of commercial and residential painting/wallcovering
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and painting equipment
• Ability to use all paints including Oil, Latex, Acrylic, Solvents and cleaning chemicals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift 100 pounds
• Walking, standing, pushing, stooping, bending, stretching
• Must be able to push and/or pull wheeled carts weighing up to 250 Pounds over tiled and carpeted surfaces
• Must be able to set up and climb and descend ladders
• Must be able to work off of scaffolding or mechanical lifts.
