Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Package Room Attendant to manage the package room in a residential setting. This role is ideal for someone with a background in security and customer service who enjoys maintaining organization and ensuring smooth package handling for residents. While concierge experience is a plus, it is not required for this role.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the package room, ensuring a secure and organized environment.
- Receive, log, and distribute packages efficiently to residents.
- Verify resident identities and maintain accurate records of package pickups.
- Communicate effectively with residents regarding deliveries, lost packages, and inquiries.
- Work closely with building management, security, and delivery personnel to streamline package handling.
- Monitor package room security, ensuring compliance with building policies.
- Assist with resolving package-related issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and orderly package room space.
Requirements
- Previous experience in security and/or customer service is required.
- Familiarity with residential buildings or concierge services is a plus.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with high package volumes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with residents and vendors.
- Basic computer skills for logging package information.
- Ability to lift and move packages as needed and use tools such as a dolly.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
