PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE
An Overnight Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring all hotel linens are cleaned to departmental standards following departmental procedures from 11:00pm-7:00am. Cleaning includes, but is not limited to, bed linens, towels and robes. Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleans and folds linens. Loading and unloading industrial washers and dryers.
- Performs cleaning duties for laundry equipment and area.
- Reports necessary maintenance issues to Front Office so a work order is made.
- Follows departmental policies and procedures.
- Follows all safety and sanitation policies.
- Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
- Operating laundry equipment including industrial washers, dryers, and press.
- Ability and willingness to adhere to all Averill Hospitality policies and ensure departmental personnel compliance.

NOTICE
Standing, bending, stooping, and lifting weights up to and including 20 lbs. may be required. The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four hours a day. This seasonal position will end on September 3rd, 2025. In addition, this is a hospitality business, and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
