Inclusion Family Counseling Center (IFCC), a growing and dynamic community mental health care agency in Brockton, (and now in New Bedford) seeks candidates interested in joining our team. We are currently seeking licensed and license-eligible Outpatient clinicians (LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW) to provide  telehealth, and community and home-based counseling to children and adults in New Bedford and the surrounding towns.

Many of our staff can speak two or more languages and understand the various cultural components that influence our clients. Many of us are local to our communities and advocate destigmatizing seeking mental health care. IFCC mainly specializes in outreach to the immigrant population and making mental health services more accessible.

Our outpatient program provides a chance to be creative and intentional in their approach to the work and work collaboratively as part of a strengths-based team.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults needing various treatment modalities, including CBT, DBT, trauma-based care, mindfulness, etc.
  • Maintain minimum weekly communication with the Clinical Therapeutic Treatment team, other providers, and collateral supports (for example, adjustment counselors, coaches, etc.) to ensure the family receives the highest level of care. This includes being a HUB for therapeutic mentoring services, if needed.
  • Assist individuals in identifying and utilizing community resources and natural supports.
  • Maintain accurate Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and follow clinical documentation timelines, confidentially, and ethical practices.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings as needed and, as appropriate, assist the youth in communicating their needs to the treatment team in Care Plan and school meetings.
  • Participate actively in weekly supervision, clinical team meetings, and mandated training.
  • A driver's license and reliable transportation is required to work in the homes of children served by our program.

Requirements

  • Education: Masters Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or closely related field required. Students enrolled in their 2nd year of a Masters program may be eligible for a paid internship through our IHT program. (Interns would see OP and IHT clients)
  • Bilingual language capacity strongly encouraged to apply
  • Preferred: Experience working within CBHI
  • Preferred: Experience in utilizing trauma-informed treatment

Benefits:

****$1000 sign-on bonus after six (6) months of employment to applicants in good standing ****

(Bonus for bilingual in Haitian Creole, Cape Verdean Creole, Portuguese or Spanish is $1,500. Bonus for an independently licensed clinician is $2,000)

Both group and individual clinical supervision is provided for all staff and many training opportunities. We offer a competitive fee-for-service rate starting at $40-45 per hour for qualified individuals.
