Outpatient Therapist
Community-Based Outpatient Therapist
Licensed or provisionally licensed (LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT) therapist needed for full time outpatient therapy position working with children, adolescents, adults and families in the community.
Services include, but are limited to, the following services:
- Individual counseling and support
- Group counseling and support
- Family counseling, training or support
- Initial intake and Comprehensive Clinical Assessment
- Strategies for relapse prevention to include community and social support systems in treatment
- Life skills
- Crisis contingency planning
- Treatment support activities that have been adapted or specifically designed for persons with physical disabilities, or persons with co-occurring disorders of mental illness and substance abuse/dependence or mental or mental retardation/development disability and substance abuse/dependence.
- Electronic documentation submitted within 24 hours of services rendered
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in human service related field
- Provisional or full licensure as one of the following: LPC, LCSW, LMFT
- 2 years of experience providing mental health services to children and adults
- 1 year of post-graduate experience in provision of mental health services
- Competency with individual, group, and family therapy
- Credentialed with Alliance Behavioral Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna and Optum/United Healthcare
- Credentialed with NC Tracks and actively enrolled in Medicaid and NCHC health plans
- Professional Liability Insurance
Compensation: Contracted, hourly.
Supervision: Supervisor per professional license requirements and Clinical Director.
Work Schedule: Flexible, some on-call/crisis availability may be required.
Location: This position is primarily community-based and the clinician(s) will be assigned a caseload of consumers within the Durham, Wake, and Cumberland Counties area.
