POSITION DESCRIPTION
Essential Functions:
The Organizational Development Trainer will help shape our company’s growth through targeted development programs. The OD Trainer will assess developmental needs, design and implement training initiatives, and support cultural transformation efforts to build a resilient, high-performing workforce. The ideal candidate has a background in organizational development, excellent facilitation skills, and the ability to translate business goals into effective learning experiences.
Responsibilities:
1. Needs Assessment: Conduct assessments and collaborate with leadership to identify skill gaps, growth opportunities, and areas for cultural improvement.
2. Program Design & Development: Create and update training content that aligns with organizational goals, emphasizing areas like leadership development, change management, and team dynamics.
3. Facilitation & Training Delivery: Deliver interactive and impactful training sessions through various mediums, including in-person workshops, e-learning modules, and virtual training sessions.
4. Change Management: Provide support for organizational changes by developing programs that facilitate adoption, enhance adaptability, and minimize resistance.
5. Employee Engagement: Drive engagement and participation in OD programs, promoting a positive learning environment and cultivating a growth-oriented culture.
6. Evaluation & Measurement: Develop metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and report on outcomes; refine programs based on feedback and results.
7. Coaching & Mentoring: Offer one-on-one and group coaching to enhance leadership skills, interpersonal effectiveness, and team cohesion.
8. Collaboration: Partner with HR, managers, and senior leaders to ensure OD programs meet the evolving needs of the organization.
Skills and Abilities:
1. Strong facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills.
2. Proficiency in training methodologies, adult learning principles, and organizational psychology.
3. Ability to design and deliver engaging learning experiences across multiple formats (in-person, virtual, hybrid).
4. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
5. Proficiency with e-learning platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
6. Knowledge: Familiarity with organizational development theories, change management frameworks, and performance management processes.
Requirements:
1. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
2. Experience: 3+ years of experience in organizational development, employee training, or a similar role in a corporate environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications: ODCP (Organizational Development Certified Professional), CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance), or equivalent.
• Change Management Experience: Direct experience with change initiatives or certifications like PROSCI or Lean Six Sigma.
• Data Analysis: Experience with analyzing training outcomes and using data to optimize programs.

“Note: As part of our application process, shortlisted candidates will be asked to deliver an in-person training presentation on a relevant topic of their choice. The presentation should be self-designed, between 10 and 15 minutes in length, and demonstrate the candidate's ability to effectively communicate and engage with an audience.
