Organic Instrumentation Analyst

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare soil and water samples for analysis in the organic department.
• Analyze soil and water extracts by GC/MS and GC/FID.
• Data entry into our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Maintain records in accordance with the internal quality system.

Requirements:

• Advanced understanding of laboratory procedures.
• 2-3 years of experience operating chromatography instrumentation. 
• The ability to communicate in a professional manner. 
• The ability to multi-task and handle instructions.
• Willingness to work overtime hours as requested.

Additional Assets:

• Bachelor of Science or Technical Diploma.
• Previous knowledge of the analysis in the following areas: CCME PHC Extraction Procedure, Oil, and Grease in Water, TCLP Extraction Procedure.
