Order Fulfillment Lead
Order Fulfillment Lead:
Manage day to day operations in the shipping department. Daily operations and responsibilities include:

Assisting the pick and pack supervisor with ensuring daily orders processed through pick and pack are completed in a timely manner

Keeping the warehouse associates on task throughout the day

Assign side work to Warehouse Associates and Outbound Dock Clerks to ensure Outbound is kept clean and ready for the proceeding work day or future projects. Such sidework can include.

Cleaning trash on the ground

Maintain a clean office, mobile workstation, and work environment.

Heavy Machinery inspection sheets are filled out at the start of each day before operating.

Heavy Machinery is put away in its proper location and plugged in.

Scan guns or any other equipment or materials used throughout the day are properly putaway and/or checked in for the proceeding workday.

Manage orders with the Outbound Dock Supervisor to help ensure all orders get sent out the door in a timely manner, orders containing inventory on the second floor must be picked, if possible packed and labeled, sent down to the first floor, and notify either the Outbound Dock Supervisor or Outbound Dock Coordinator that product has been sent down.

Oversee all tickets assigned to in Freshdesk and have been kept up with and maintained the company’s SLA standards.

Ensure any warehouse associate operating heavy machinery has been properly trained and fill out a daily inspection sheet.

Any orders unable to be shipped out of Best Way Distribution by its expected ship date need to be brought to the attention of the corresponding C.S.R. and/or the Operations Manager
The Order Fulfillment Lead should be trained and well versed in working with Extensiv and the Freshdesk ticketing system and should be able to train the staff in the department on the necessary systems to work on a day-to-day basis.
