Summary of Position: The Operations Specialist's job is to provide assistance in everyday operations of a warehouse. The assistant is responsible for the efficient manner in which the warehouse is running, and for this to happen must perform various activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Handle and operate necessary tools to maintain and manage a warehouse

·        Load and unload delivery trucks

·        Check quantity and type of goods received against bill of lading

·        Notify sender of any damaged or missing goods

·        Help plan efficient use of warehouse space

·        Label, organize and record location of goods in warehouse for efficient access

·        Keep neat and clean warehouse premises

·        Monitor warehouse stock and re-order as needed

·        Ship goods as needed

·        Monitor and manage inventory control

·        Prepare dispatch notes and labels upon requests

·        Prepare goods for daily pick up by freight companies

·        Compare shipping rates to find most efficient and economic

·        Communicate clearly with manufacturers, distributors and sales reps

·        Quality control of goods in and/or goods out

·        Perform crystal pressing process on our products as needed

Qualifications:

·        Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel

·        Some knowledge of warehouse environment

·        Self-motivated and detailed organizational skills

·        Good written and verbal communication skills

·        Prioritizes responsibilities to achieve results

·        Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Working Conditions: Able to physically lift boxes from 20lbs to 50lbs and comfortable with the use of tools such as knifes and scissors.
