Position Summary: Crowheart Energy, LLC is conducting a search for an Operations Engineering Technician. This position will work with the Operations team to stand up operational reports for the organization using data analytics to improve results and provide valuable operations insights to the company and provide daily engineering technician support.
Salary Range: $85,000 – $110,000 per year, depending on experience level and qualifications.

Primary Job Responsibilities
KPI Reporting/Analysis:
- Monitor operations key performance indicators (KPIs), generate reports, and provide insights and recommendations to management.
· Ensure data integrity and integration of multiple data sources to assist in KPI development and tracking.
- Create and manage dashboards to track company performance.
- Perform detailed variance analyses on operational transactions as compared to budget, estimates, and forecasting.
- Develop, maintain, and steward multiple team reports and reporting functions.
- Build
and maintain company databases for production staff analysis.
- Format data analytics to include in presentations to management.
Engineering Tech:
- This position will provide a variety of technical support in all phases of production activities.
- Provide technical data management support to Well Servicing\Production Functions.
- Manage and prioritize workover schedule, maximizes revenue, and minimize move costs.
- Manage AFE creation and review process for the production team.
- Prepare economics evaluations by analyzing costs and asset revenues to maximize production opportunities.
- Track variances to production and LOE on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis and compile data for further analysis and lookbacks.
- Support Crowheart’s compliance tracking and execution as needed (Bradenhead, RTP, MIT, etc.).
- Track cost accruals on workover/P&A jobs, document variances to AFE and estimates.
- Support other functions as needed with skillset background.
- Demonstrate commitment to safety and environmental compliance in all job aspects.
- Gather and compile well data information and generate various reports/ update well bore schematics.
- Work independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring, and ongoing diverse projects. Act as a project manager for special projects, which may include planning and coordinating multiple presentations, executive level reports, and disseminating information.
- Foster a climate that supports relationship building and collaboration between business and IT.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
- Strong understanding of Field Operations and Production Operations
- Strong time management and prioritization to efficiently manage tasks, prioritizing activities, and allocating time effectively to ensure smooth production operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, relay technical information, and report findings or issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, operators, and other technicians to achieve production goals and address challenges collectively and efficiently.
- Ability to investigate discrepancies, trend and analyze data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations based on findings.
- Independent, self-driven, and requires minimal supervision.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering Technology, or similar, or an equivalent combination of experience working as a Technician/Technologist
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience performing a technical support role with an Oil and Gas Operator.
- Education may be considered in lieu of experience and vice-versa.
· Highly proficient in Python, R, SQL, Excel, PowerPoint and Spotfire required.
· Experience in PowerBI, Aries, Wellview/Siteview, OpenInvoice, and/or Scada systems is a plus.
· High level of agility; a quick learner with a strong desire to adapt and improve methods and technologies.
· Must be an organized, detail oriented, motivated self-starter with strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Demonstrated ability to extract, manipulate and analyze extensive amounts of data and information quickly and accurately.
Working Conditions
· Normal office environment (90%) Some field travel will be required (10%)
· Some overnight travel may be required
