Job Description
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Management Team in daily operations to achieve optimal operating efficiency.
Functions

Scheduling inbound/outbound shipments with carriers and preparing documentation

Issue and check loading tickets to drivers upon arrival
-
Dispatching drivers to proper loading locations and notifying Supervisor of arrival
-
Yard arrival of containers
-
Preparation of inbound container paperwork and receiving labels (if necessary)

Preparation of inbound transactions ready for committal at Customer Service Central
-
Submittal of inbound/outbound documentation to Customer Service Central
-
Assist in inventory control, problem solving and general Operations support

Fielding calls and emails professionally
-
Maintain a neat and orderly workspace
Requirements
-
1-3 years industry experience preferred
-
Operations background preferred
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
-
WMS/Dispatch experience a plus
