Job Overview:

The Operations and Customer Support Assistant is a unique position at Sweetgrass Pharmacy.  This role will assist with making deliveries to patients and doctor's offices, perform cashier responsibilities and prepare packages for shipment. This position is expected to work full time and Saturdays will be needed from time to time. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Delivery of medications to patients and doctor's offices
• Prepare packages for shipment
• Interact with walk-in customers and perform activities such as accepting hard-copy prescriptions and ringing up purchases.
• Answer, triage and handle or redirect incoming phone calls as much as possible.
• Assist customers with over-the-counter medications and other items offered for sale in the front of the pharmacy.
• Other Duties As Assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service and/or delivery

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Pleasant demeanor and ability to handle a variety of customer service issues
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift 40 lbs
• Must be collaborative and able to perform as part of a team
• Ability to take direction.
• Knowledge of applicable pharmacy software(s).
• Ability to work a cash register.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple math.
• Valid Driver's license
