Maintenance Repairer
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Repairer to join our facilities and maintenance team. The Maintenance Repairer will be responsible for performing a wide range of routine and preventive maintenance, repairs, and minor construction tasks to ensure that buildings, systems, and equipment remain in safe and efficient working condition. This role requires versatility, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform general maintenance and repairs across various trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and HVAC support.

Diagnose and repair building systems, equipment, and fixtures to maintain functionality and safety.

Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and extend service life.

Assemble, install, and maintain furniture, fixtures, and minor structural components.

Repair doors, locks, windows, walls, floors, ceilings, and other facility components as needed.

Respond promptly to maintenance service requests and emergencies.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, tools used, and materials consumed.

Operate hand and power tools safely and maintain equipment in good working condition.

Follow established safety protocols and adhere to OSHA and facility standards.

Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to complete assigned projects.

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in maintenance or a related trade preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in building or equipment maintenance.

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.

Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical labor in various environments.

Valid driver’s license required.

Experience working in commercial, institutional, or industrial facilities.

Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance systems (CMMS).

Knowledge of HVAC, irrigation, or control systems a plus.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
