Harlem Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a Registered Occupational Therapist to join the team at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Harlem, NY!

Registered Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

·         Screen, evaluate, and treat residents per MD order

·         Develop effective treatment plans including long-and short-term goals, frequency, duration and treatment modalities

·         Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and Rehab Aides in direct resident care and resident related activities in accordance with state practice acts

·         Treat residents according to a treatment plan approved by the attending physician

·         Record clinical documentation of daily treatments and procedures

·         Participate in scheduling of residents as indicated

·         Participate in discharge planning

Registered Occupational Therapist Requirements

·         Degree from American Occupational Therapy Association Accredited School of Occupational Therapy

·         Current NYS licensure as an Occupational Therapist

Preferred

·         Previous experience in post-acute/long-term care
