We are recruiting for a part-time and full-time In-patient Occupational Therapist to join our skilled team of pediatric professionals in Marlton, NJ. This position is benefits eligible.

POSITION SUMMARY:

  The Occupational Therapist (OT) is an integral member of the rehab team. The OT is responsible for the administration of appropriate treatment techniques and modalities for pediatric rehabilitation of children aged birth to 21. The OT is responsible for adherence to the scope and standards of practice as defined by the American Occupational Therapy Association. The OT uses creativity, professional judgment, and problem solving techniques to achieve quality outcomes and provide the highest quality of patient centered care. The OT participates in patient and family teaching and works collaboratively with other disciplines. The OT plays an integral role in facilitating functional performance through the integration of physical skills, play based activities, social-emotional development, sensory processing, motor performance, and cognitive abilities.

 POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

1.    BS/B in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program, MA/MS/MOT preferred

2.    NJ OT licensure or eligibility for licensure

3.    CPR/ BLS certification

4.    Minimum one year of previous pediatric experience (medical or educational settings preferred)

5.    NDTA, CHT, AOTA, SI training/certification preferred

6.    Pediatric experience in both medical and educational settings preferred

7.    Strong organizational / time management skills

8.    Excellent oral and written communication skills

9.    Ability to work well as a team member
