Job Description:

As the Nursing Program Director at Center for Allied Health Education, you will be responsible for the overall management and administration of our nursing program. You will play a crucial role in shaping the curriculum, ensuring program accreditation, and providing leadership to our faculty and students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Curriculum Development: Collaborating with faculty to develop, implement, and evaluate nursing curriculum that meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Program Accreditation: Leading efforts to maintain and attain program accreditation, ensuring compliance with relevant accrediting bodies.
  • Faculty Leadership: Providing guidance and support to nursing faculty, including recruitment, professional development, and performance evaluation.
  • Student Success: Monitoring and enhancing student outcomes and success rates, implementing strategies to support student retention and progression.
  • Quality Assurance: Implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance program effectiveness and student learning experiences.
  • Budget Management: Managing program budgets, resource allocation, and fiscal planning to ensure program sustainability.
  • Community Engagement: Establishing and maintaining partnerships with healthcare facilities and organizations to enhance clinical placements and student experiences.

Requirements:

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (Doctorate preferred).
  • A current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
  • Significant experience in nursing education, including previous leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of accreditation standards and processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
