Job Description:
As a Nursing Instructor at Center for Allied Health Education, you will play a vital role in educating and inspiring future nurses. You will have the opportunity to shape the minds of aspiring healthcare professionals and prepare them for rewarding careers in nursing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching: Delivering engaging lectures, facilitating discussions, and leading hands-on clinical experiences to nursing students.
- Curriculum Development: Collaborating with the curriculum team to develop and update course materials to ensure they align with industry standards and best practices.
- Student Support: Providing guidance, mentorship, and support to students, both inside and outside the classroom, to help them succeed academically and professionally.
- Assessment: Evaluating student performance, providing constructive feedback, and participating in the development of assessment tools.
- Professional Development: Staying current with healthcare trends and advancements to incorporate into your teaching and mentoring.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Nursing (Doctorate preferred).
- A current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
- Clinical experience in nursing, preferably in acute care settings.
- Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
