We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nursing Home Administrator for a premier, CMS 5-Star rated skilled nursing facility known for clinical excellence, operational stability, and outstanding resident outcomes. 


Position Overview:

As the Administrator, you will have full responsibility for the strategic and day-to-day operations of the facility. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of exceptional care, sustained regulatory compliance, strong financial performance, and a supportive workplace culture. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned executive to oversee a high-performing SNF.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all operational, financial, and clinical functions of the skilled nursing facility.
  • Drive compliance with CMS and state regulatory requirements, ensuring survey readiness and quality excellence.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to foster a high-performance, resident-centered culture.
  • Maintain strong census and payer mix through strategic marketing and referral relationships.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and cost-control initiatives to meet margin and care goals.
  • Ensure the continued success of the facility’s QAPI program and five-star quality indicators.
  • Promote staff engagement, retention, and professional development across all departments.
  • Serve as the face of the facility with residents, families, community stakeholders, and referral partners.


Qualifications:

  • Active Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in NY.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Administrator in a SNF.
  • Proven success maintaining or improving CMS 5-Star quality ratings.
  • Strong understanding of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, PDPM, and SNF regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred.
