 Night Auditor - Polynesian Hotel

Job description - The night auditor will complete normal front desk duties such as; answering phones, making/canceling reservations, checking guests in/ out, taking payments, and helping resolve any guest concerns. The front desk personnel is often the first point of contact for our guests, a friendly welcome is a must. Communicating overnight events to morning staff is essential for a smooth transition.

Job Responsibilities -

  •          Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address service needs
  •          Register, take payments, and assign keys to guests
  •          Inform guests of the amenities and services available to them
  •          Inform customers of availability and rates
  •          Handles any guest issues or complaints, using appropriate service recovery methods
  •          Work with the corresponding departments to resolve any property or guest issues
  •          Verifies all in-house reservations on a daily basis for accuracy
  •          Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safety hazards
  •          Communicate with the morning staff to inform them of any task to be completed or update

Requirements -

  •          Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  •          Previous experience is preferred but not required
  •          Able to work for complete overnight shifts independently
  •          Ability to perform computer-based tasks
  •          Ability to work independently
  •          3rd Shift
