Night Auditor
Tidewater Inn is seeking a Night Auditor to join our Team! The Night Auditor is responsible for reconciling the property’s daily receipts, reporting revenue and verifying systems are functioning for a new business day. This position also acts as front desk agent (greets and welcomes guests to the establishment and makes them feel welcome and comfortable in their environment).
Responsibilities:
- Verifies and organizes daily payment receipts according to Night Audit Guidelines.
- Verifies and posts daily revenue for events according to Night Audit Guidelines.
- Verifies and settles credit card batches for Hotel, Spa and Hunter’s Tavern.
- Closes business day in PMS Operating System.
- Prepares reports for distribution according to Night Audit Guidelines.
- Greet and welcomes guests.
- Assigns room and keys.
- Maintains room availability.
- Collects and distributes messages for guests.
- Check in/out guests.
- Assists in resolving billing discrepancies.
- Answers inquiries regarding hotel area and services.
- Educates guests about the layout of the property – Hotel, Spa and Hunter’s Tavern– hours of operation as well as locations.
- Offers to make reservations for the Spa and Hunter’s Tavern.
- Informs guests of any special events that may be happening during their stay and offers to make reservations.
- Secures the privacy of the guests.
- Arranges for transportation.

Compensation:
- $18.00 - $20.00 an hour.

Position Type/Work Schedule Expectation
- Full-time
- 11pm to 7am shift daily.
