Operated by Village Media, The Trillium is your trusted source for insightful, in-depth coverage of politics and policy-making in Ontario. We’re hiring a reporter for our newsletters, which provide detailed summaries of the latest developments in Ontario politics and policy. This reporter will also report news stories for The Trillium and the Village Media network of news websites.
Who You Are
Have experience covering politics at Queen’s Park or at another level of government
Have exceptional writing and editing skills
Report quickly, clearly and accurately and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
Aren’t afraid to ask tough questions when required
Are committed to fairness, accuracy and transparency, and have impeccable ethics
Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in journalism, or related experience
Superior language, writing and editing skills, with a thorough knowledge of CP Style
Able to work a Sunday-Thursday schedule, and some nights and weekends when required
